Manchester guitar heroes Fuzzy Sun return from a brief hiatus with glistening new track ‘Fake It’. Emerging from lockdown with a sleek and defined sound the band are well and truly at their best.
Yet another band coming out of lock down at their musical finest is Fuzzy Sun. The band return announcing that a new EP is on the way and with latest single ‘Fake It‘ being just a taste of what’s to come, it’s certainly time to once again start getting excited about Fuzzy Sun. Featured on Radio X, BBC Radio 1 & 6 and the NME’s 100 List the Manchester indie band already know how to turn heads but their latest offering feels like a real change in gear, centred around addictive vocal melody ‘Fake it‘ boasts energetic drums, silky guitars and a vibe that’s so full of life I’m sure seeing it live will almost make up for missing 15 months of gigs.
At it’s core ‘Fake it’ is perfect summery indie rock anthem that’s full of life and soul lifting riffs. “We wanted to make an impact with the new single, pushing a new creative direction for the band, as I think we have really found a sound that excites us and we feel comfortable with.” said vocalist and front man, The song itself is about feeling rather disenchanted with society and putting on a brave face when in fact you feel the complete opposite, which is something we can all relate to. It was inspired by a dark time, with the hope of things getting better.” With live gigs returning, Fuzzy Sun are an essential addition to your calendar with up coming dates in Manchester, Nottingham and Newcastle.
