Jessica Luise – a.m.

Manchester based singer-song-writer Jessica Luise releases new E.P. ‘Going in Blind’ on July 9th featuring euphoria inducing lead single ‘a.m.‘. Packed full of energy, emotion and ecstasy this ode to momentary love is a hard hitting melodic ballad and the perfect backdrop for the coming summer of love.

With the cancelation of more and more of the U.K. festivals and maybe some tighter restrictions coming into place it’s looking less likely we’ll be getting the hot girl summer we’ve so been dreaming of, but don’t give up hope there’s still a chance things can turn around and it’s tracks like ‘a.m.’ from Jessica Luise keeping the vibe going no matter what. With the warm, breezy feel of a summer evening ‘a.m.’ is an emotional love ballad that’s driven by Jessica’s sunny voice breathing gorgeous melody over a packed composition that complements every note. Despite it’s upbeat sound and carefree energy the track has tones of vulnerability that reflect the melancholic story of a brief fling and lost love.

Jessica Luise already boasts some great tracks with ‘Nice Try’ from earlier this year being a real highlight, but upcoming E.P. ‘Going in Blind’ is set to be another stunning addition to hear already impressive poppy Arsenal. Jessica says of the EP: “To think that I would be the proud creator of a piece of work like this after being in this industry for such a short time baffles me. ‘Going In Blind’ comes from how I was blind to the red flags in relationships I’ve encountered over the years, and a bit of a comment on how when I first started in music I knew nothing. I am still learning, but maybe I’m not as much of a newborn in this industry as I was a year ago.” Jessica has a whole host of shows coming up including RivFest and No Man’s Land all-dayer at Yes, Manchester there’s plenty of chances to hear ‘a.m.’ live in the mean time check it out bellow:
