Wigan rising stars The Facades are making a big splash with their debut single. A creeping riff and silky smooth vocals narrate a tale of deceit resulting in an explosive first outing for another exciting addition to the North West indie scene.
The airwaves have gone wild for Wigan four piece, The Facades’ debut “That Letter”.
Wigan has certainly become a hotbed for producing new artists that have become widely successful and The Facades look like they’re on course to be next in line to put the borough on the map! Their stunning new single “That Letter” is a delectable debut that seduces you from the opening bluesy bass line. It’s a catchy indie-rock tune with smooth yet fiery vocals complete with an empowering message about cutting the crap in a relationship that’s dead in the water. Instead of plying us with hurt feelings and melancholy melodies, “That Letter” simply tells us to know your self-worth and walk away. The band have stormed onto the music scene with positive praise and even a shout out from the one and only Robert Carlyle. Who knows what else they have in store for us!
