We’re so excited to have live music on it’s way back and to be planning shows again, as we’re rolling out our live announcement over the next few weeks we want you to give you a taste of what you’ll be getting at these shows by letting you get to know the bands. First up Manchester indie pop band Vala at the iconic Castle Hotel.

British boys recording guitar-pop noise in bedrooms, kitchens and living rooms across Greater Manchester, Vala have been stamping their unique indie pop sound across the northern music scene. Their latest EP ‘Swimming Kit‘ saw a slight side step away from their 60’s inspired indie bops into a self produce lo-fi bedroom pop anthems. With support from BBC Introducing and XS Manchester along with tracks like ‘She’ll Play Heck’ and ‘Summer Air’ hitting huge playlists world wide Vala have a huge appeal and are sure to keep up their tradition of blowing the roof off their live shows.

Main support on the night comes from local four piece Cottons, the band have three outstanding indie pop singles and some raving reviews the band look to be true ones to watch. Their raw sound and big hooks paired with unique vocal style set them up to be a perfect addition to the line up. All Night Dining are rising stars on the Manchester indie scene finding themselves in the thick of a whole lotta buzz. First two singles ‘Butterfly’ and ‘There must have been a reason’ are just a taste of the bands high energy sound that’s been likened to the likes of Catfish & The Bottlemen and Sundara Karma. Rounding up the bill is newcomers Silver States, having heard some of their music we’re very excited to have them for their very first gig.
