Merseyside indie-pop drop their new single ‘Someone Else’, an upbeat, pop -fuelled , summer playlist essential packed with funky riffs and addictive hooks.
The first track since last years debut EP ‘Local Celebrities’, More in Luv’s latest single is true to form, it musically radiates positive energy with lofty vocal melodies and compact guitar riffs over slick beats, with a style reminiscent of The 1975, ‘Someone Else’ has the potential to dominate the soundtrack to the summer. Lyrically it’s not all glitter pop and summer vibes, written about seeing someone close to you changing for the worse and echoed in that catchy chorus hook ‘I like you better when you’re someone else’, it’s a relatable subject matter for most.
The band are already gathering support from the likes of BBC introducing Merseyside and a whole bunch of new music blogs which is gaining them fans all over the country as well as establishing them as genuine ones to watch in the North West. ‘Someone Else’ is a track that incorporates all the best parts of pop and indie music equally making it a feel good track essential for any summer playlist.
