Post like mail, Louis like the king, London Indie band Post Louis are just back off tour with Yuck frontman Max Bloom showcasing their unique Indie sound, along with new music for the first time in a while.
London five-piece Post Louis have been making music for some years now but only came to my attention when supporting Max Bloom in Manchester at the start of December. Their intricate blend of melody and occasionally abnormal rhythm matched with front woman, Stephanie’s, beautifully controlled vocal provide them with their unique indie sound that sometimes verges into the cinematic, but ultimately they’re a band hard to pin down to one particular sound.
Their latest track ‘Descender’ is a perfect showcase of exactly what Post Louis can do, a six minute, tender, bittersweet indie rock odyssey of sound.
